Warranty Terms for Dental Restorations and Fillings
In the event of failure or damage to dental restorations or fillings (e.g., fractures, ceramic chipping, crown detachment), our clinic will repair or remake the work free of charge, provided it was used appropriately and the warranty conditions were adhered to.
Warranty Periods for Different Procedures:
- Implants – 10 years (implant only)
- Crowns, bridges, veneers – 2 years
- Inlays/Onlays – 2 years
- Removable prostheses (excluding relining) – 1 year
- Composite fillings – 1 year
- Temporary restorations – No warranty
Warranty Conditions:
- The patient must notify the clinic of the issue as soon as possible after the defect is detected.
- Repairs or replacements must be performed exclusively by our clinic’s dentists. Each case will be assessed individually, and the dentist will decide whether repair or replacement is required.
- Regular dental check-ups at our clinic every six months are mandatory.
Additional Information:
During the preparation of crowns or bridges, teeth may undergo preparatory trauma, which could later require root canal treatment. Such procedures are not covered under the warranty and may incur additional costs.
The clinic cannot be held responsible for dental issues that were not visible on the patient’s X-ray or could not be foreseen at the time of treatment.
Reduced or Void Warranty Situations:
The warranty may be reduced or invalidated under the following circumstances:
- If the patient misses the mandatory six-month check-ups during the warranty period.
- If the patient neglects oral hygiene.
- If the patient fails to follow the dentist’s instructions.
- If the patient does not properly maintain their removable prosthesis.
- In cases of gum or jawbone recession.
- In the event of accidental damage (e.g., dropping a prosthesis).
- If the patient experiences significant weight gain or loss.
- If the patient suffers from a general medical condition that negatively impacts dental health (e.g., diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, post-radiation therapy, or chemotherapy conditions).
- If any other dentist performs repair work on the restoration provided by our clinic without prior consultation.
