Air-Flow Intraoral Sandblasting

Air-Flow technology is a valuable addition to modern professional oral hygiene treatments, it is an integral part fissure sealing and teeth whitening. Traditional ultrasonic scaling may not completely remove certain stains, as attempting to do so could harm the enamel, break the edge of fillings, or chip ceramic crowns under excessive pressure. Sandblasting resolves this issue.

Using this technique, patients’ teeth become smoother and often appear whiter. After professional dental calculus removal, polishing the teeth with Air-Flow is crucial because a smooth surface is less prone to plaque and tartar buildup.

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride plays a vital role in the prevention and control of tooth decay. Fluoride varnishes or gels are applied to prevent decay and cavities, strengthening tooth enamel while providing acid-neutralizing and antibacterial effects.

The transparent varnish with high fluoride content is directly applied to the tooth surface in a localized treatment. Its mineralizing effects not only restore the mineral balance of teeth but also reduce sensitivity before and after dental procedures, such as teeth whitening, dental calculus removal, or wearing braces.
