Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure with the goal of lightening the color of teeth by removing stains from the enamel. Teeth can discolor over time due to various factors such as food and drink consumption (e.g., coffee, red wine), smoking, medications, and the natural aging process.
In our praxis, we use laser teeth whitening because it penetrates deeper layers than other whitening methods without heating the teeth. Additionally, the diode laser technique we employ produces much longer-lasting results.
Monolithic zirconia ceramic is a rather popular dental material used for the fabrication of restorations such as crowns, bridges, and implant superstructures. It combines strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal, making it increasingly favored in dentistry in recent years. “Monolithic” means the restoration is made entirely from a single material—zirconia—providing a uniform and homogeneous structure.
Unlike traditional zirconia crowns that have a ceramic veneer, monolithic zirconia crowns are crafted entirely from a single zirconia block using CAD/CAM technology, making the entire manufacturing process computer-controlled. Since zirconium dioxide is softer than ceramic, the risk of chipping or damage is significantly reduced.
Monolithic zirconia restorations offer numerous advantages over traditional zirconia crowns, where only the frame is made from zirconia, not the entire crown.
Advantages:
E-Max crowns and shells are among the most aesthetic and advanced solutions in modern dentistry, especially popular for front teeth. Made from lithium disilicate, a highly durable and translucent ceramic, E-Max crowns closely mimic the appearance of natural teeth while providing adequate strength and resistance. Being metal-free, they are both biocompatible and visually superior, making them an excellent choice for those seeking top-tier restorations.
Features:
Tooth jewelry is a small gem that enhances a healthy smile with a touch of sparkle. It can only be applied to perfectly maintained teeth in optimal dental health. Before attaching the gem, teeth whitening or dental calculus removal is often necessary. During the application process, we use a technique that preserves the enamel, identical to the adhesive system used in aesthetic fillings. If the patient decides to remove the tooth jewelry, it can be entirely cleaned off the tooth’s surface without damage.
